Project ObjectiveThe client wanted to understand the risk associated to new markets as they where seeking diversification by acquisitions in Oceania and NAFTA area.
Project ScopeHolistic risk assessment for a specialty construction equipment supplier, mining machinery and automotive, with a particular emphasis on H&S risks, crisis potential and climate change impacts on the global operations and logistics of the company, including the identification of a set of over hundred key risks. Effort was conducted in parallel, but independently from the Due Diligence exercise.
ResultClient could understand what areas in the new industry represented major risks and developed a rationale for well balanced mitigation of the operations and the contractual landscape with clients and third parties suppliers, allowing transparent risk and opportunity discussions.
