Project ObjectiveEvaluate transportation risks for existing roads, new roads, but also compare risks of present status with possible future statuses (including replacing commute to a remote site with an air-bridge). Evaluate possible gains due to road enhancements, variations in the risks during or after deployment of mitigative measures, evaluate results of long term traffic enhancement methods in probabilistic terms.
Project ScopeUnderstanding differences in short and long term risks for alternatives including for example an airplane shuttle system, the introduction of dynamic signalling, road enhancements, etc.
ResultClear and transparent decisions in areas of strong uncertainties and difficult measurements.
